The food distribution to fragile people is affected by a major issue related to the fact food is given for free when close to the expiration date for the possibility to sell them. That date for most of them is not the real expiring date for consumption. This period is exactly the one in which it is possible for distribution to donate food with the possibility to deduct costs from profits. But on the other hand, there in not a clear communication to citizens about the healthy condition of food itself. DECIDO is supporting a new policy to communicate the possibility to clarify the situation for fragile citizens.
