Brief description of the course/hackathon

The training course was characterized by multidisciplinary managerial level training programs in the areas of :
environmental protection;
socio-economic development;
social security (protection and civil defence).

There were two sessions dedicated to:

– Part 1 (60 minutes) 11:00 – 12:00 Prof. Vanni Resta lecture on European project planning, management and submission” (Italian lnguage)

– Part 2 (55 minutes) 12:00 – 12:50 Introduction to the main achievements of the Horizon 2020 – 101004605 – DECIDO (English) (in remote connection)

DECIDO project has been presented giving an overview of its functionalities to be implemented in each pilotsite. There was presentation of 9 lecturer:

The composition of the class comprised 7 female and 11 male. However the class has not been created within the DECIDO project

Have you been (environmentally) sustainable?

The meeting was organized in hybrid mode

Do you intend to make another training event? Is it part of a cycle of seminars?

It is foreseen another section in the next academic year in order to show project achievement to the academic community

How did you reach your target?

The goal of the two Lumsa University multidisciplinary masters promoted by E.Di.Ma.S. are aimed at the training of Prevention Managers (experts in strategic and integrated territorial planning) and Emergency Managers (experts in crisis management in the public and private sectors). Both multidisciplinary university masters are preparatory to the certification of skill for Prevention Managers (II level master in O.D.E.M. Official of Disaster and Emergency Management) and Emergency Managers (II level master in E.M.C.P. Emergency Management of Civil Protection).

What were the expectations? Explain how you reached them?

To introduce the implementation activities performed within DECIDO project in view of a project result’s replication in other contest within the civil protection and in other emergency management domains. However the result explanation has been put-off the next training event it has been important to describe the operation environment of DECIDO.

Trainee

Trainee were evaluated by the two Master’s Director Prof. Giuseppe Coduto following the guidelines provided by the University an published on the “Valstat” portal (https://www.lumsa.it/ateneo_organizzazione_ndv_valdid) which contains the results of the surveys on the opinion of attending and non-attending students

Trainer

Trainer, as per all the University training activity were assessed by an Evaluation Unit governed by a specific regulation, approved by the Board of Directors, also with reference to current legislation and in conjunction with the activity of the National Agency for University Evaluation and Research (ANVUR).
The Evaluation Unit is made up of highly qualified individuals mainly from outside the University.
The Evaluation Unit is appointed by the Board of Directors, which also identifies its President.
At the end of each academic year, the Evaluation Unit draws up a report, which is presented to the Academic Senate and submitted to a resolution by the Board of Governors.
