Foodwaste and Date Marking DECIDO supporting the change

Today the DECIDO Turin pilot team met in the Banco Alimentare (Food Bank), premises the ARCI association; one of the main player in Turin in relation to foodwaste issues. The discussion was focused on the enlargement of DECIDO phase 1 experience related to Date Marking for food. A first Hackathon on that matter is planned for next November the 7^th. The main goal is to formulate a feasible policy to improve citizens’ awareness around Date Marking compared with real food safety. DECIDO platform will collect data coming both from the pilot itself and feed backs collected on field.
